On 25–26 November 2026, the E-OilÉ consortium will gather in Turin, Italy, for its 18-month General Assembly, hosted by partner Propagroup.
The 15 partners will take stock of progress across the project, from safe and sustainable by design (SSbD) and circularity assessment to the development of new biodegradable polymers at pilot scale. Two working groups will review progress on the first prototypes, from flexible sachets to thermoformed packs and tubes. Partners will also prepare the upcoming work on end-of-life pathways, which combines biodegradation testing in different environments with AI-based digital twin modelling.
The agenda also covers stakeholder engagement and collaboration with sister projects, the route to market, and what the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) means for bio-based packaging, including how partners can contribute to standardisation. The meeting will close with a visit to Propagroup’s facilities.
