Earth is Not a Landfill – How E-OilÉ is rethinking packaging
On International Earth Day, the global conversation turns once again to the impact of human activity on the planet, what should be a daily discussion, […]
E-OilÉ will be represented, by the partner Myrolion, at the International Conference on Sustainable Solid Waste Management, in Kos Island, Greece. This conference aims to promote safe practices & effective technologies for solid waste management, such as anaerobic digestion and waste-to-energy. The conference gathers researchers, industry experts, policymakers, and local authorities from all around Europe to create a leading forum dedicated to innovative, safe, and effective practices in solid waste treatment, circular economy, and environmental sustainability.
This multidisciplinary event is set on exploring solutions for waste valorisation, biowaste utilisation, sustainable biofuels, and circular plastics. And it aims to stimulate the interest of scientists and citizens and inform them about the latest developments in the field of municipal solid waste management.
E-OilÉ’s partner Myrolion is Greek producer of polyphenol-rich organic olive oil, that is dedicated to produce high quality olive oil that is both sustainable and local sourced by family-run businesses whose purpose is to produce quality, exchange ancient cultural knowledge and apply practices that, heal the soil and the overall ecosystems. And that includes sustainable and circular waste management.
In E-OilÉ, they are the supplier sustainable biobased feedstock that will be converted into biobased building blocks for the synthesis of biodegradable aliphatic-aromatic polyesters: one way of converting waste to value.
Get involved in this event and follow E-OilÉ and Myrolion’s journey and participation.
Our presence in this event reinforces the project’s commitment to scientific exchange, cross-sector collaboration, and real-world impact.
