European Bioplastics “Touch Base” R&I Series

OilÉ has been invited to participate in the Touch Base with Novel R&I Projects series, hosted by European Bioplastics. This initiative connects emerging EU-funded projects with key industry stakeholders working on bioplastics innovation, regulation, and application.

In this session, E-OilÉ coordinator Maria José Suárez, will present the project´s work on developing safe and sustainable biodegradable packaging solutions for single-use monodose oily products in the food and cosmetics sectors. The project focuses on advanced materials—biopolyesters and polysaccharides—engineered to meet high-performance demands, while also enabling circular business models and multiple End-of-Life pathways.

The event provides an excellent opportunity for research and industry actors to explore collaboration and stay informed on the latest R&I developments in the bioplastics space.
